UK Mail is one the UK’s leading integrated postal operators. Monk Conveyors have installed roller track conveyor systems at two of their sites, feeding tote bins along a sorting station.
The plastic totes are 300 x 400mm weighing 10kg. The roller track system included side chain transfers, blade stops to separate totes and sensors with PLC software control.
A control system controlled the flow of work through the system.
The project included full mechanical and electrical installations, followed by training and handover to the customer.
